Third phase of Hawrat Sanad Housing Project in progress
Units to be delivered by early next year

Housing Ministry is implementing the third phase of Hawrat Sanad project, which involves the construction of 50 housing units of unit structural area 209 square meters, Assistant Undersecretary for housing projects, Sami Abdullah Bu Hazza said. It will have two floors having 4 rooms each.
He added that 55 per cent of the construction and 39 pc of the infrastructure works have been completed. Electricity and sewage networks would be installed immediately upon the completion of the necessary procedures.
He said the units would be ready to be delivered by early next year. Earlier, 265 housing units were delivered last July.
He pointed out land acquisition and the evacuation of the site had delayed the work.
He added the project is an extension of the units and residential buildings located in the surrounding area.
In view of the construction of 4000 housing units project, he praised the supervisors' efforts and keenness on translating the directives of the leadership.
