Crown Prince meets UK Prime Minister
Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron at 10 Downing Street in London yesterday. Prince Salman conveyed greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Prime Minister and extended His Majesty’s congratulations on a vibrant election, wishing United Kingdom further prosperity and development. The Crown Prince then highlighted the long-standing ties between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, noting the strength of ongoing cooperation and coordination between the two counties on various strategic issues. He went on to highlight HM the King’s recent visit to the United Kingdom as a demonstration of the strategic and historic bilateral relationship and highlighting the role of UK government in further developing bilateral ties.
